LC-5 Lender Check
Overview
The LC-5 report was created by conveyancers for conveyancers to add a layer of protection in the conveyancing process. Part 2’s can now be changed at anytime and the LC-5 report can now clearly highlight any changes that have been made at any point in time. Run a report at the start of a case and at the very least just before exchange to make sure no changes have occurred that you are not aware about (you make up to 5 updates per case). Keep a record on file of any changes for auditing purposes. Standardise your office procedures and protect your PI insurance
