Turnaround Warnings
Please be advised that the estimated turnaround time is subject to change. As with all search companies, we are currently experiencing a fluctuation in response times; however, we are working closely with Local Authorities to ensure the quickest turnaround and thank you for your patience.
The following local authority areas currently have an extended turnaround time for the Regulated Local Authority Search (please note: T/A is for Prime Regulated Local Search estimated turnaround time in business working days, and are not Official Search turnaround times):

| Cyngor Gwynedd Council | 25 | Onesearch have been advised of the following I am pleased to inform you that today 14th of April 2026 we served notice on Cyngor Gwynedd and they are due to go live with the LLC service on 12 May 2026. Cyngor Gwynedd have confirmed that the last date they will accept LLC1 searches is 17:00 on 28 April 2026 After 28 April 2026, customers will need to hold any LLC search applications until after the local authority have gone live on the HM Land Registry Service. | Isle of Wight Council | 50 | Onesearch have been advised of the following Good Morning Apologies for the delay in returning searches. As explained recently, due to staff sickness, annual leave, and a high workload within a small team, a backlog has developed. We are working hard to reduce this and improve turnaround times; however, at present, the turnaround time for searches is approximately 4–5 weeks. I appreciate that clients may be looking for updates on their searches. However, we're currently receiving multiple chasing emails, which unfortunately adds to the workload and can make it more difficult for us to work through the backlog efficiently. To help us manage this, I'd be grateful if chase emails could be kept to a minimum unless a matter is particularly urgent or a search has been outstanding for more than five weeks. | London Borough of Hackney | 180 | Since the cyberattack at London Borough of Hackney Council in October 2020, the Local Authority have been unable to access or provide information in the Local Land Charges register and CON29/0. The Local Authority have advised that they have been able to retrieve some information on the Local land Charges register and CON29/0 and will be able to provide a partial search report. This report will provide elements of the LLC1 and CON29/0 but will not cover a full search. The Local Authority have also advised that they will no longer provide a personal search service for the foreseeable as they currently have no public register available. Regrettably, this means that OneSearch Direct will be unable to provide a regulated search service in in the London Borough of Hackney Council for the following products. OneSearch Prime OneSearch Duo For clients with an outstanding order for either of these products, we can provide the following options: 1. Cancel your order, free of charge. 2. Change your OneSearch Prime or Duo to our OneSearch Express product, which is a comprehensive No Search insurance policy of £1.5 Million for residential and £2 million for commercial, combined with real-time Local Search Enquiries (CON29R Data). The cost is £54.00 for residential and £100 for Commercial and can be returned in up to 5 working days. 3. Leave your order outstanding indefinitely and obtain a Search Delay insurance policy. | St Albans City Council | 40 | Onesearch have been advised St Albans Council is transitioning to a new Planning and Land Charges system. This essential upgrade will help improve performance and reliability. From the 8th to 26th October there will be a complete shut down of the existing system to allow data to be migrated. This will affect official searches and personal searches. Personal search appointments can currently be booked up to and including 7th October. We are unable to book appointments after this date and cannot accept email requests for appointments after this date until 27th October. The Personal Search Explorer system for search agents will continue to be used for appointments up to the end of January 2027. A further update will be sent out during December to explain what will happen after January 2027. We would appreciate you would sharing this email with your colleagues.
