Please be advised that the estimated turnaround time is subject to change. As with all search companies, we are currently experiencing a fluctuation in response times; however, we are working closely with Local Authorities to ensure the quickest turnaround and thank you for your patience.

The following local authority areas currently have an extended turnaround time for the Regulated Local Authority Search (please note: T/A is for Prime Regulated Local Search estimated turnaround time in business working days, and are not Official Search turnaround times):

Breckland District Council	10	Onesearch have been advised of the following Good afternoon Breckland Council's Land Charges Service is currently transitioning to a new IDOX back office IT system. From 5.00pm on Friday 22nd November 2024 we will be unable to accept any searches whilst this transfer of data takes place. Normal service will be resumed at 9.00am on Monday 9th December 2024 but there will be a significant change in the way that Land Searches can be submitted; any current URLs will no longer work and there will be a new form to complete and submit. Kings Lynn and West Norfolk Borough Council	25	Onesearch have been advised of the following from Kings Lynn Council We currently have staffing issues in the Landcharges Team and may not be able to respond to your email immediately. London Borough of Hackney	180	Since the cyberattack at London Borough of Hackney Council in October 2020, the Local Authority have been unable to access or provide information in the Local Land Charges register and CON29/0. The Local Authority have advised that they have been able to retrieve some information on the Local land Charges register and CON29/0 and will be able to provide a partial search report. This report will provide elements of the LLC1 and CON29/0 but will not cover a full search. The Local Authority have also advised that they will no longer provide a personal search service for the foreseeable as they currently have no public register available. Regrettably, this means that OneSearch Direct will be unable to provide a regulated search service in in the London Borough of Hackney Council for the following products. OneSearch Prime OneSearch Duo For clients with an outstanding order for either of these products, we can provide the following options: 1. Cancel your order, free of charge. 2. Change your OneSearch Prime or Duo to our OneSearch Express product, which is a comprehensive No Search insurance policy of £1Million, combined with real-time Local Search Enquiries (CON29R Data). The cost is £50.00 and can be returned in up to 5 working days. 3. Leave your order outstanding indefinitely and obtain a Search Delay insurance policy. London Borough of Harrow	10	Notice of Land Charges Migration The London Borough of Harrow has announced that from 8th to 25th November, they will be migrating their Land Charges to the Land Registry. This transition may result in slightly extended turnaround times. Onesearch will be closely monitoring the situation to mitigate any potential delays. Many thanks
London Borough of Havering Council	40	Due to restrictions on regulated Local Search appointments at the Local Authority, the current turnaround time at London Borough of Havering Council is approximately 40 working days. We understand the impact that delays can have on transactions and would therefore like to offer the following options as an alternative solution: 1. To reduce the turnaround time for the OneSearch Prime, London Borough of Havering will return the results in approximately 10 days for an additional fee of £35.18. 2. Change your OneSearch Prime to our OneSearch Express product which is a comprehensive insurance policy of £1 Million, combined with real-time Local Search Enquiries (CON29R Data). The cost is £50.00 and the search can typically be returned in 2 working days. 3. Change your OneSearch Prime to an official Local Authority Search. The cost for the official Local Authority Search is £148.00 and the turnaround time is an average of 16 working days. Referral panel or introducer work: Please ensure you liaise with the originating referral panel or introducer prior to amending any search pack. Mansfield District Council	21	Please note that we are currently experiencing issues with Mansfield District Council. There has been a delay in returning building regulation information and we are in discussions with the Local Authority to try and resolve this situation. Unfortunately, this is likely to increase turnaround times in the short term until this matter is resolved.
Newcastle upon Tyne City Council	40	Onesearch have been advised of the following Due to higher search volumes and resourcing issues, Newcastle Upon Tyne City Council are taking longer that normal to return regulated Local Search information, which has led to an increase in turnaround times of approximately 25 working days. Onesearch will continue to monitor this situation and advise accordingly
Oldham Metropolitan Borough Council	40	We have been advised that due to software issues this councils turnaround may fluctuate. The issues have been resolved however they now have a backlog to work through. We will continue to monitor the situation. Many thanks
Rossendale Borough Council	25	Rossendale have advised that they are now working through a backlog which has now had an impact on turnaround times. The turnaround time is approx. 30 days Onesearch are currently monitoring the situation. Please accept our apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.
St Helens Metropolitan Borough Council	25	Please be aware of temporary delays due to this council working through an unexpected backlog. They have a apologised for any inconvenience this may cause. Onesearch are monitoring the situation.
Stevenage Borough Council	35	Onesearch have been informed that Stevenage Land Charge department is currently experiencing staffing issues, which has resulted in increased response turnaround times. We will continue to monitor the situation and advise accordingly. Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience this may cause.
Surrey Heath Borough Council	30	UPDATE - 06/08/2024 - Surrey Heath turnaround is approx. 35 working days. They previously advise 28 but this has now increased over the past several weeks. We have been advised that Surrey Heath are experiencing high volumes of work at the moment which has increased their around time to approx. 28 days. They have apologised for this and have assured us that they are trying to work through this as quickly as they can. We will continue to monitor and update accordingly.
