Terrafirma announce updates to the Ground Report

Terrafirma announce updates to the Ground Report header image

*** Communication from our valued partners, Terrafirma ***

Terrafirma has launched an update to its Ground Report, making it the first domestic search product to provide detailed, property-specific information on the risks from clay-related subsidence and trees – a major cause of building damage in the UK.

There is no price increase with this update, and the changes will be effective from the 1st October 2019.

Updates for October 2019 include:

  • Improved clay-subsidence risk assessment, including future climate change scenarios.
  • The addition of a comprehensive clay subsidence module, using advanced modelling to portray zones of influence from nearby trees.
  • Terrafirma’s unique sinkhole alert forms part of the first page location map, providing up-front information on recorded collapses near to the property.
  • A revised Natural Ground Perils module which identifies the likely risks from slope movement as well as any mapped landslide areas which may affect the property.

TerraSearch Assess Retirement
The Ground Report provides a more comprehensive reporting solution than Assess and therefore Terrafirma will be retiring the TerraSearch Assess at the end of 2019.

If you would like to add the Ground Report to your bundles, please get in touch.
